Ans- The Baudhnath stupa was the Buddhist shrine of Kathmandu.It had an immense white dome ringed by a road. There was no crowd there. It seemed like a heaven of quietness in the busy street around.

Ans- At the Nepal Airlines, the author enter s its office and buys a ticket for the next day's flight.

Ans- It is believed that when the small shrine half protudes from the stone platform on the bank of the holy Bagmati emerges fully, the goddess inside will escape and the evil period of the Kaliyug will end on the earth.

Ans- The flute seller has, in his hand, a pole with an attachment at the top from which fifty or sixth bansuris protrude in all directions, like the quills of a porcupine.
