Present Imperfect Tense 
Also called-
Present Continuous Tense
Present prograssive Tense

पहचान- ऐसे वाक्यों केेे अंत में "रहा है, रहे हैं, रही है" होता है।
उदाहरण:-
वह खेल रहा है।
वे लोग पढ़ रहे हैं।
राम बाजार जा रहा है।
सीता खाना पका रही है।
हमलोग लिख रहे हैं।

Afirmatives Sentence
Structure - S + Is/Are/Am + V4 + O.
S  - subject
V4- verb + ing
O  - object
नोट -1st person singular number अर्थात I के साथ am का, 3rd person singular number अर्थात He, She, It या कोई एक नाम के subject (कर्ता) होने कि स्थिति में Is का और Plural Subject के साथ Are का प्रयोग किया जाता है। 

Am - I
Is - He, She, It, Ram, Sita, Boy, Girl, Cow etc.
Are - We, You, They, Ram and Sita, Cows, Boys etc.

Example:-
(1) मैं क्रिकेट खेल रहा हूॅं।
I am playing cricket.
(2) तुम पत्र लिख रहे हो।
You are writing a letter.
(3) वह पत्र लिख रहा है।
He is writing a letter.

नोट- ऊपर के उदाहरणों में पहले वाक्य में I अर्थात मैं subject है दूसरे वाक्य में You अर्थात तुम subject है जबकि तीसरे वाक्य में He अर्थात वह subject है। इसलिए ' I ' के साथ am playing का,  You के साथ are writing का और He के साथ is writing प्रयोग हुआ है ।

Example:-
I am playing. - He is playing.
We are going. - He is going.
You are reading. - She is reading.
They are writing. - Ram is writing.
Boys are running. - Boy is running.

Negative Sentence
Structure - S + Is/Am/Are + Not + V4 + O.

Example:-
(1) मैं क्रिकेट नहीं खेल रहा हूॅं।
I am not playing cricket.
(2) वह पत्र नहीं लिख रहा है।
He is not writing a letter.

More Example:-
I am not playing. - He is not playing.
We are not going. - He is not going.
You are not reading. - She is not reading.
They are not writing. - Ram is not writing.
Boys are not running. - Boy is not running.

Yes/No Interrogative Sentence
Structure - Is/Am/Are + S + V4 + O + ?

Example:-
(1) क्या मैं क्रिकेट खेल रहा हूॅं ?
Am I playing cricket ? 
(2) क्या वह पत्र लिख रहा है ?
Is he writing a letter ?

Yes/No Interrogative Negative Sentence
Structure - Is/Am/Are + S + Not + V4 + O + ?

Example:-
(1) क्या मैं क्रिकेट नहीं खेल रहा हूॅं ?
Am I not playing cricket ? 
(2) क्या वह पत्र नहीं लिख रहा है ?
Is he not writing a letter ?

'Wh' Interrogative Sentence
Structure - Q.Word + Is/Am/Are + S + V4 + O + ?
Q.word - Question word
For example:- Why, Who, Where, Which, When, What, Whose, How etc.

Example:-
(1) वह कैसे पत्र लिख रहा है ?
How is he writing a letter ?
(2) मैं क्यों क्रिकेट खेल रहा हूॅं ?
Why am I playing cricket ?

'Wh' Interrogative Negative Sentence
Structure - Q.Word + Is/Am/Are + S + Not + V4 + O + ?

Example:-
(1) वह पत्र क्यों नहीं लिख रहा है ?
Why is he not writing a letter ?
(2) मैं क्रिकेट क्यों नहीं खेल रहा हूॅं ?
Why am I not playing cricket ?
